Knowledge
“I’m so busy and stressed out, don’t invite me to read…reading isn’t one of my top priorities.”
If that’s the case, at the very least finish this article. You could change your mind by then?
Knowledge is the Master Key to an Abundant Life, but Ignorance is “The Root Cause of All Evils!” We all know that knowledge is the answer to every issue and that ignorance is the origin of all evils. Why should you be reminded of something you already know if it is self-evident? It’s not so much what you know as it is about what you do not know. How much do you read on an average day if you’re an average reader? How much time do you devote to earning a living and how much time do you devote to improving your quality of life? Is it true that gaining more money brings you permanent happiness? The majority of people look for happiness in all the wrong places, except where it counts: in acquiring knowledge. They move through life without stopping to consider why they are alive. The pursuit of knowledge is the farthest thing from their minds.
The quantity of time that individuals commit to reading has been steadily decreasing in this crowded era of high stress and misery. As a result of this tendency, the degree of tension and distress in our souls, as well as the level of violence and instability in society, will continue to rise. How do we put a stop to this deadly trend? Isn’t knowledge the answer to all problems and ignorance the source of all evils?
The goal of this article is to demonstrate why learning should be at the top of your priorities list. You will obtain a new passion for life and fresh energy to deal with life’s various obstacles if you pursue knowledge.
Answer this Invitation, If you are a devout follower of Christ!
You have an added motivation to treasure the message of this Invitation if you believe in God, especially if you are a devout Christian or Jew. That motivation is your faith and confidence in God’s Word. What does He say about the repercussions of not pursuing knowledge or not seeking knowledge? Please memorize the following two poems and read them at least once a day. If you put what you already believe into practice, you can change your life:
The First Verse
Through knowledge shall the just be saved. -Proverbs 11:9
To know the role of knowledge in your destiny, turn two critical terms of the preceding verse into their opposites. This is what you will see: Through ignorance shall the unjust be saved!
The Second Verse
My people perish for lack of knowledge. -Hosea 4:6
What do we learn from the second verse? It illustrates the grave ramifications of ignorance: spiritual death. Would someone who is devoted to God and honest to himself accept such a fate? Isn’t it true that a lack of awareness about our physical health has the same result: death?
We all have a fear of dying. Shouldn’t we be even more afraid of spiritual death? Life on Earth is but a fleeting moment in the grand scheme of things. Should we then forsake eternity for a single moment of indifference? Should you ignore God’s advice as well as the voice of common reason that speaks within you if you sincerely trust in His Word? Should you accept the most serious consequence of ignorance: an eternal death?
Would you not put what our Creator tells you into practice if you are a sincere believer? Would you likewise dismiss the seriousness of His warning that ignorance might lead to the greatest of losses?
